1. I love reading African-American literature and historical fiction especially wars.
2. I lived in the same house as my mother did when she was little. The home was built by my grandfather. It was a farm house in Kansas. There was even the original outhouse nearby, though we did have indoor plumbing (in case that was in question.)
3. Because our water was rural and therefore, at times unpredictable, I know that there is one good flush left in a toilet when your water shuts off (this can be crucial information)
4. I like a big glass of ice water when I'm eating chocolate.
5. I've wanted to adopt since I can remember talking about having a family.
6. I took 7th grade math 3 times (once in 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade- junior high were rough years). For the record, I tested out of it in 8th grade and was back on track in 9th grade.
7. Matt and I are one of the greatest teams I know.
There you have it. Now I tag . . . . Diana and Chrystal,

That rural water brings back memories of the frog in my bath water on the farm...
Other than the frog...that house holds my best childhood memories...playing house with David and Steve...David was ALWAYS the mother...(when Doug came along we would SOMETIMES let him play, when we weren't being mean to him)
Christmas on the farm when Grandma lived there was something I will always treasure.
I will always treasure "the Hoey's" as well...
