Got One!

It's taken 8 months and hundreds of photos to get this one shot of both boys smiling and looking at the camera!

Mama, Who's Obama?

So chit chatting with West and he pops in with "Who's Obama?"
"He's a man who wants to be our leader"
And he replies "But God is our leader"
Good one West.

One day, I broke the ice (for myself) and defined the word adoption to West.
"We adopted you. Do you know what the word adoption means?"
"No"
"Adoption means that we decided that you would be in our family forever. And we told everyone around us that you are our son forever."
"And you did that with Creed too, right?" says West.
"Yes. We said that with Creed too."
Then he replies "Me and Creed adopted you and Daddy"
"You did?" I say.
"Yes. Me and Creed decided that you will be our family forever"
A big hug, initiated by West, concluded that conversation.

So I popped the question . . .

I was asked not to talk about adoption for 6 months after Creed came home. Well, 6 months has come and gone, and I finally got the nerve to pop the question to Matt "When and where are we going to bring home #3?"

We talked about different time frames. We talked about different countries. We went through a few options we said we wouldn't do. We talked about a few things we said we would do.

And what did we come up with??? Indecision. We'll table that one for a while.
