One person's fun is another toad's misery. Today, Daddy found a toad in the yard. I think it is the camera shot that every mom or dad is looking for when they are the parents of two boys:
I did make the boys let the toad go before they went to bed. I did not want it to have the same fate as the dozens of rolypolys of late. I told them that it would live happily under our deck. I forgot to mention that the mommy snake of the 8 baby snakes we found under the deck would probably enjoy him for dinner. Let's hope mommy snake or her babies 8 never make a blog post.

I see a reality show in the snake's future:
Mommy Snake Plus 8.
:o)
So cute!
SNAKES...Yikes! Hope they're grass snakes.
Love this!! Miss you guys... wish we lived closer and our boys could play with bugs and toads together!
Frog legs tonight!
That is so cool about the church orphan care ministry. I would love to do something like that if God so led.
Those frogs don't know the trauma they may experience when they enter a yard of kids, eh? And what is with the snakes? We've had about 5 already and it freaks me out. I heard that on the news last night too- they have had several calls about them! yuck.
