Do you have a top 5 list of things you want to do in life? I do and they are as follows:
1. Adopt children (done, but need more :)
2. Be in a rubber raft in Alaska when a whale nearby surges to the surface for air (I want to "feel" how big they are.)
3. Travel to Africa
4. Eat as much unbaked Duncan Hines cake mix as I want
5. have a magazine cover worthy backyard.
I know these may seem kind of random, but sometimes there isn't much rhyme or reason why there are things in life you want. Sometimes there are volumes of experiences leading up to it that answer the question why.
So I've done 1. adopt children, and eating a cake mix is at my fingertips to do . . . probably when I feel secure enough with body image that one will happen.
The other ones take a little more time and planning and alignment of life circumstances.
But tonight, I am on the eve of fulfilling another lifelong dream and that is going to Africa. Tomorrow we fly to Ethiopia.
Feels good to be on the eve of a dream.

Yum, the cake mix sounds great! I wish I had the time, talent and patience to make our backyard into something from a magazine. :)

My heart skipped a beat - I thought you were going there to adopt and I wondered how I had missed that!! Then I figured it out when I went through your old posts.
I mean why else do we go to other countries?!?!? :)
